Symptom
FEX module (N2K-C2232PP-10GE) connected to N5679K unexpectedly reloads when inserting 4xGLC-TE transceivers into HIF ports one by one
Conditions
- FEX module N2K-C2232PP-10GE
- GLC-TE transceiver inserted one at a time within short interval
Workaround
------------------------------------------
INVOLVES RELOAD OF FEX
------------------------------------------
1. make all the final connections that needs GLC-TE sfps to be inserted into the ports
2. if SFP not detected then try other ports else reload the fex
3. if the fex reloads by itself, let the fex come up.
4. Once the fex comes online, check "show interface brief" for the status of ports with GLC-TE for "Transceiver validation failed"
5. Reinsert the GLC-TE to make it work.
