Symptom

Radius packets will be dropped without forwarding the request to the Radius server.

Conditions

Configuring aaa authentication login ascii-authentication within global configuration mode and using RADIUS.

Workaround

Remove the aaa authentication login ascii-authentication configuration. This has been described in the Guide...the new document is scheduled for release with 7.0(3)F3(1) this week.
