For the same Cisco Product ID (SFP-10G-SR), but different names (CISCO-JDSU vs. CISCO-AVAGO), differences in behaviour can be noticed for default values of two parameters (possibly more) when the links connected in these transceivers are not up (either link down or interface administratively down).
The issue has been seen on Nexus 9300-EX switches, but it can possibly affect other platforms as well.
Configure NMS to ignore "-30.00 dBm" value for "RX Power" parameter and "0.00 mA" for "Current" parameter and not raise alarms.
Issue #1: With interfaces in "Link not connected" state, "RX Power" parameter has value "-30.00 dBm" for CISCO-JDSU vs. value "N/A" for CISCO-AVAGO.
