Symptom
On Nexus 5000 / 6000 switch when there is a Spanning tree loop or some other corner condition, DHCP discover packet with source mac address might be incorrectly learnt from some other interfaces instead of the one it should be learnt on. This could cause further discrepancy in the mac learning on the switch in software and hardware.
Workaround
Investigate the spanning tree loop or the condition which caused the Source MAC address contained in DHCP discover packet to be learnt on wrong interface.
