Symptom
When uploading Cisco Provided Packages via Agent Resources From Local Disk in ISE 2.0, the administrator is unable to verify the hash values to the files on cisco.com as the hash algorithms are not the same. As a result, the administrator is forced to either not verify the hash values, or download a 3rd party hash agent. This can then be a problem in situations where security and file validity is of most importance, and the administrator is not allowed to install a 3rd party hash verification agent on his machine.
Conditions
This is only relevant for instances where uploading a Cisco provided package via local disk is needed. Currently uploading a Cisco provided package via local disk is the only way to deploy AnyConnect on endpoints via ISE.
Workaround
Use a 3rd party hash generator that supports SHA-1 or SHA-256 and also MD5 or SHA-512 to verify the file hash value.
