Symptom
When a Redundancy Group is configured on a router, MPLS LDP based services are affected and a significant traffic outage is seen on IPv4 over OSPFv2, IPv4 over BGP and IPv4 over IS-IS.
In presence of the Redundancy Group, RSP failovers will also trigger teh same traffic outage.
Conditions
Redundancy Group must be present in the configuration of the router.
Workaround
Do not configure a Redundancy Group and avoid configuring 9000v Satellites in a RING topology. Instead, use Hub and Spoke for the 9000v satellites.
