Symptom

On an ASR903 RSP1 dual-RP router, LDP Session flaps periodically on the Standby RP.

Conditions

MPLS LDP NSR is enabled on the ASR903 router. MPLS LDP MD5 Password authentication is enabled on the ASR903 and the peer LDP neighbor.

Workaround

Disable LDP MD5 Password authentication. But, this might not be acceptable to Customers as this would create a security hole.
