Symptom

A warning message faced in DCNM 7.2(1) when activating an IVR zoneset in fabric. Message is as follows and don't stop ZS activation: "When using InterVSAN Routing (IVR), it is recommended to enable Cisco Fabric Services (CFS) on all IVR-enabled switch".

Conditions

This is best practice to enable CFS in fabric for IVR but when a single switch is IVR enabled, topology does not requires CFS to distribute IVR zoneset to any another switch(es).

Workaround

Before activating IVR from DCNM, execute following command from IVR-enabled switch: "ivr distribute" (if initial deployment, run "feature ivr" first on switch CLI)
