Symptom
Serial number of non-FRU entities like front panel ports and NIM-SSD on ISR4k were displayed as "JAB092709EL". All the routers had the same serial number.
Workaround
Look at the serial number of the motherboard.
Further Problem Description
Since these are non-FRU entities, they do not have a separate serial number. Therefore the serial number field of these entities would be blank/empty.
