Symptom

In a Nexus 6000/5600 series switches, link degraded messages such as following can be seen between port ASIC and fabric ASIC.

Conditions

Seen during normal production. Fabric link can be degraded for other hardware related issues which this bug does not address. The root cause for this software issue is incorrect Fabric init issue.

Workaround

A power cycle of LEM or switch might recover if the root cause is software fabric init issue
