Symptom

ip address not received on server that is doing PIX boot

Conditions

when a dhcpdiscover message is sent with a (b) broadcast bit set, the dhcpoffer that comes back to the switch gets dropped.

Workaround

disable broadbast bit for dhcpoffer in pixe boot
