Symptom
Changing hash value for cef load balancing results in Interface flaps
Conditions
With NetFlow v4 sampling configuration on the interface and when we configure
cef loadbalancing value to 15 the interface flaps.
Workaround
only use Even Hash rotate values.
note that this is not per say related to netflow. some other features such as span would also reveal the issue if odd hash rotate values are used.
Further Problem Description
using Odd hash rotate values could cause packet to get incorrectly modified on ingress thus causing packet corruption and potential protocol flap.
