General
The Cisco ASR9000 router displays the following queue or unqueue errors with tracebacks, randomly in the log:
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:Mar 19 23:05:01.257 CET: domain_services[1149]: %OS-QUEUE-7-NOTQ : queue_unqueue didn't find 100136f8 in queue 1003d5e0 : pkg/bin/domain_services : (PID=303403) : -Traceback= 81f83ce 4206bbd 420774d 8202a33 8200ca4 8202087 827a4c3 827a8bf 826a010
Symptom
The Cisco ASR9000 router displays the following queue or unqueue errors with tracebacks, randomly in the log:
RP/0/RSP0/CPU0:Mar 19 23:05:01.257 CET: domain_services[1149]: %OS-QUEUE-7-NOTQ : queue_unqueue didn't find 100136f8 in queue 1003d5e0 : pkg/bin/domain_services : (PID=303403) : -Traceback= 81f83ce 4206bbd 420774d 8202a33 8200ca4 8202087 827a4c3 827a8bf 826a010
Conditions
This issue is reproducible on a live router when DNS cache entry time out is multiple of EEM script schedule time. Here EEM script triggers a DNS query when ever it runs.
The issue was seen on customer setup when DNS cache entry time out is 15 min and EEM script schedule time is 5 min.
Again with the above timer values a race condition might happen 1 or 2 times in a day and rest all the times issue is not seen (even though EEM script runs for every 5 min throughout the day).
Workaround
No known workaround exists.
