Symptom
The command: "down-when-looped" unavailable in the Cisco IOS XR router.
The command is used to bring down the serial interface on the remote router especially in the following scenario:
The remote router is configured to loopback mode; the XR router should identify the remote loopback and bring the serial interface down.
Conditions
Currently the remote interface is identified and displayed as part of the "show interface serial" command. The issue occurs when the interface has to be brought down using a CLI command.
Workaround
No known workaround exists. The code to bring down the remote interface is currently under implementation.
