Symptom

Input/CRC errors on Host interface on a 2232TM. FEX might experience RCV error under the output of show interface counter error. The issue is seen when 2232TM FEX is connected to either Nexus 5k or 7k.

Conditions

There could be a sporadic burst of CRC errors on FEX Host Interfaces at times. The problem is intermittent in nature.

Workaround

-Change the speed to 1G -Move the connection to diff port. If the switch has been upgraded via ISSU (non-disruptively) to the fixed release then FEX will need to be reloaded for the fix to take effect.
