Symptom
After the customer issue resequence prefix-list ipv6 , the following error appear:
Unable to resequence : 'sysdb' detected the 'warning' condition 'The EDM which was responsible for the specified item unregistered while the operation was in progress, or binding to the specified directory is not supported'. Also, the Crashed pid = 237718 (pkg/bin/ipv6_acl_daemon) crash.
Conditions
Customer running 4.2.0, and do a resequence on a IPV6 ACL.
Additional Info
This is a day-1 issue and is present in all releases that have
prefix-list feature. By "all releases", we mean that IOS-XR
versions prior to 4.3.0, where the fix is committed.
Due to XR HA design, the impact is minimal. IPv6 Prefix-list
will be correctly resequenced. After the process 'ipv6_acl_daemon'
crashes and restarts, the info of resequenced prefix list will
be correctly populated in all stakeholder processes, e.g. sysdb,
ipv6_acl_daemon and prefix-list users.
