Symptom
"ip igmp join-group" command causes sw-forwarded traffic for configured groups.
Conditions
While useful for basic functionality testing, we do not recommend using the
join-group configuration in production.
Workaround
In most scenarios, the "ip igmp static-oif" command can be used instead when
manual configuration of forwarding to an OIF is required.
