Symptom
Tunnels stay down (no valid path in area) although a valid path exists in that area.
Conditions
- TE tunnel with path-option with area constraint in dotted IP address format (e.g.
path-option 1 explicit name R01-R13-1a ospf 2 area 0.0.0.106)
- no other valid path-option is configured/exists for the tunnel
- RP is little endian (e.g. Satori).
Workaround
- Configure the constraint area in decimal format.
- Configure tunnel with a path-option with no area constraint.
