Symptoms

OneFS upgrade does not start. When you start an upgrade, you may see below error: # isi upgrade cluster start /ifs/data/OneFS_Images/OneFS_v8.2.2.0/OneFS_v8.2.2.0_Install_Bundle_2020-07.tgz --nodes 1 You are about to start an UPGRADE, are you sure? (yes/[no]): yes '/ifs/data/OneFS_Images/OneFS_v8.2.2.0/OneFS_v8.2.2.0_Install_Bundle_2020-07.tgz' is not a valid upgrade image

Cause

The OneFS upgrade bundle was not unzipped before starting the upgrade process.

Resolution

Unzip the upgrade file before initiating the upgrade process.Use the below command to unzip the upgrade bundle: # tar -zxvf OneFS_v8.2.2.0_Install_Bundle_2020-07.tgz
