In the vSphere Client, when you create a new category with cardinality set to One Tag Only, you still can assign more than one tag to a virtual machine. For example, when you navigate to Tags and Custom Attributes > Assign Tag and create two tags with the new category, you see both tags assigned, despite the single cardinality rule. This issue is resolved in this release.
