The colour palette on reports is not applied as per the specified sorting order of the retrieved data rows.
Navigate to Reports > View /Run. Filter the reports and look for the keyword "Incidents". You can also create a new report but editing an existing report will also reproduce the issue. Open the Incident Trend By Priority report. Chamge the report type to Time Series > Column and click Next. In the Configure section, set the following values: Set the Group by priority Select Stacked bars Trend by updated", Per "Week" Aggregation "Count" Click Next. In the Style section, set the Chart color as "Use color palette" and Set palette as "Blues dark to light (5)". Use the condition builder to remove the filters on the report and add sorting based on Priority from A-Z. Expected behavior Color palette applied on the ordered field ("Priority") in ascending order, that is, dark color to light color based on the sort order of priority field. Actual behavior Color palette not applied on the ordered field ("Priority") as per selected sorting order.
After carefully considering the severity and frequency of the issue, and the cost and risk of attempting a fix, it has been decided to not address this problem in currently supported releases.
