A "FW in FAULT state" message is displayed in Linux driver logs during the controller firmware update flash following an online HPE MR Gen10 Plus and Gen11 storage controller firmware update.During an online firmware update, the Linux driver logs may display a message indicating a firmware fault, "Firmware in FAULT state." This message appears across all supported Linux operating systems after the firmware update completes successfully.

The firmware update completes successfully, and no reboot or corrective measures are necessary.
