The touchpad on a Dell laptop may not respond after disconnecting the Bluetooth mouse. This issue occurs when the laptop is connected to a U3223QZ monitor using USB-C and the following option is not checked in Setting, Bluetooth & devices, Touchpad. Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected Affected Monitor: Dell U3223QZ
This is working as designed. The laptop considers the monitor Time-of-Flight (TOF) sensor as mouse.
Access the monitor's On-Screen Display (OSD).In Audio & Webcam, disable Webcam & Presence Sensor. Note: See Manuals and Documentation for your Dell Product to learn more about how to access and operate in OSD.
