Symptom
Transit GRE traffic is not forwarded
No drop counter increases.
Conditions
Ingress interface is configured with HSRP/VRRP.
The next hop on the previous device is the virtual address of the NCS.
Workaround
Remove HSRP/VRRP configuration from the interface.
Use physical interface address as the next-hop for transiting GRE packets.
Use the MAC BIA (Burned In Address) of the interface for HSRP with "hsrp use-bia" command.
Further Problem Description
GRE with HSRP and VRRP is not supported currently. It’s a feature.
